My favourite movie: Rushmore

Uh, this is hard... I like so many movies that pickin up one of them seems unfair with other movies I like. But in this ocasion I will say that my favourite film is “Rushmore” (the title in Chile is “Tres son multitud”), directed by Wes Anderson (a very very good director, indeed almost all of his movies are between my real favourites). The movie is about Max Fischer, a nerdy boy from an exclusive school named “Rushmore”, who has so many extracurricular activities (being very good in each of them) but terrible califications in his regular classes. He’s in love with her teacher but he’s expelled from school for his low notes (he’s poor, studying there by a scholarship)... action develops until he become friend of his teacher, that became the wife of a friend of them.

Anyway, the first time I saw it was one year ago, in a moment of my life that I watched a lot of movies. The good thing of this movie, that put it beyond the others is the quality of the photography, the nice story (very original) and, better than anything, the performance of Jason Schwarzman, Max Fischer.

I really recomend this movie for people who likes original stories and nice aesthetics in the productions.

  1. it´s a great movie, the story is very interesting and is not the traditional "happy ending". This is a really good movie.
